What changes would you make to NSU, if you were president for a day?
“I would buy everyone in the school a meal of their choice because living on campus means that you are constantly eating the same thing, and I know how boring and unappetizing it [can] be.”
Laura Enzima, sophomore biology major
“I would lower the prices of the food in the UC because, a lot of the time, students cannot afford the prices and do not have enough time or the transportation to leave campus to get something cheaper.”
Henny Sanchez, sophomore nursing major
“I would host a fun day that would include food, games and petting animals. I think it would remind students who live here why they love their second home and maybe even encourage others to move on campus.”
Mya Daniels-Abdulahad, sophomore biology and marine biology major
“I would host a dance contest because I love to dance, and I think that students should be able to bond with their president on a fun and personal level, as well.”
Maydelissa Pinell, freshman exercise and sport science major
“I would make an initiative to make better time management in the nursing program. A lot of the students in the program have one class a day or all their classes on one day, when it could be better spread out.”
Omar Rodriguez, sophomore nursing major
“I would put a weekly Food Truck Friday into place so that students could have a fun day to look forward to every week. The music and food will bring the student body together.”
Kelsey Ragsdale, sophomore nursing major
“I would create a plan to make the study rooms in the library soundproof because it is often hard for people working in groups to study quietly.”
Wendy Azopardo, sophomore nursing major
