Wildlife weekend service trip

Sharks and Service (SAS) is planning a trip to the Everglades Outpost Wildlife Rescue in Homestead, Florida from Oct. 14-16 to help rehabilitate injured animals and release them back into the wild. Trick to the treat of a research or internship

Career Development and The Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography will host the 5th Annual Trick to the Treat of an Internship or Research Experience event on Oct. 20 in the art gallery on the second floor of the Alvin Sherman Library from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will present their biology and medicine internship experiences and learn how and why to apply for science-related internships and research opportunities. Career Development staff and faculty will be on hand to answer questions about programs and provide information. Maasti Indian bake sale

The Maasti Dance Team is having a bake sale in the Don Taft University Center Spine on Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Indian sweets, appetizers, and meals will be available for purchase, and the proceeds go towards the dance team’s expenses.
