Pat McAfee retires from NFL after 8 seasons

Pat McAfee, punter for the Indianapolis Colts, announced his retirement from the NFL on Feb. 2 at the age of 28.  He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

 

Larry Fitzgerald announces he is coming back for 2017 season

Larry Fitzgerald, 10 time pro-bowler and wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, confirms he will be coming back for his 14th season.  Fitzgerald led the NFL with 107 in 2016. This could be a positive sign that Carson Palmer, 37-year-old Cardinals quarterback, will also be coming back. This could indicate a run at the 2017 playoffs for the team.

 

Tiger Woods misses cut at Torrey Pines

Tiger Woods, in his second start in nearly two years, missed the cut at Torrey Pines in San Diego, which means his score did not qualify for him to play the remaining rounds. Woods posted rounds of 76-72. This is the first time in his historic career that he missed the cut at Torrey Pines.  Woods will be playing in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic next week.
