NSU is a unique and lively campus, but that doesn’t mean that Sharks can’t band together and take an afternoon to explore the South Florida area — even if that just means finding a quaint place to study.
Recently renovated and conveniently located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, The Grind Coffee Project is not only a place to drink coffee, but to rise and grind. Fort Lauderdale has many coffee shops in which you can “Gill Out,” but none compare to this one. The Grind Coffee Project started as a homey little shop which eventually grew to become a great coffee spot known for its work-friendly atmosphere.
The Grind Coffee Project is warm and cozy and their coffee and pastries are delicious. There are many sections for students to sit down to work, from the coffee bar, outside area, meeting room, window table, tall tables, the couches and the quiet room devoid of all music and distractions.
It truly is the perfect place to go and have a meeting, drink some coffee, complete homework or hangout with friends. The Grind Coffee Project is also dog-friendly, so if you need a place to have a cup of coffee and hangout with your best pet friend, this is the best place to be.
The Grind Coffee Project is beautiful inside and out, especially because of how rustic the place is, making it perfectly comfortable. Also, its rustic decor translates to picture-perfect, Instagram-worthy spots. Because of its atmosphere and design, there are many places to take fabulous pictures around the coffee shop. Consider posing next to their “Drink Coffee, Be Awesome” slogan for a little inspiration and motivation.
When it comes to the drinks, The Grind Coffee Project has many options to choose from including cappuccinos, hot and iced lattes, mochaccinos and different types of tea. Their amazing pastries, muffins and croissants pair perfectly with the beverages and are beautifully presented in mason jars.
A perfect morning could truly be amazing when spending it at The Grind Coffee Project. As they say, “Drink Coffee, Be Awesome.”
