Welcome back Sharks,
I hope you’ve had a relaxing summer break and are excited about this upcoming school year. We have many new experiences ahead of us, both for new and returning students. We’re slowly returning to a “new normal,” one that will hopefully lead to us being able to gather as a community once again.
The Current is gearing up to provide NSU students with another year full of breaking news, thought-provoking features, student opinions and the latest in the sports and entertainment spheres. We can’t believe we’ve begun working on Volume 32 of The Current and can’t wait to see what’s in store.
Unfortunately, we are not printing physically this semester, but we hope that as the school’s general vaccination rate rises, we can return to reading the news on paper soon. Remember to report your vaccination status to the NSU Vax Max Program.
It is an honor for all of us at The Current to provide students with the latest news stories that are pertinent to all of us at NSU. Events are kicking back up, we can start visiting friends living in other dorms and who knows what other exciting things are in store. We’ll be here to cover all of it. Study hard, make memories and don’t forget to check in with The Current to stay current.
