Fun group Halloween costumes

When we were children all we cared about on Halloween was getting candy, having fun and saying the famous catchphrase ‘trick or treat.’ However, as we get older we begin to focus on finding the perfect Halloween costume for a party or pictures, especially if you are a matching set.

Group costumes are not only trendy but a good way to bond with your friends, siblings and partners. In the past couple of years, there has been an immense amount of creativity when it comes to dressing up, with people dressing as superhero duos, television characters and cultural themes.

Classic Greek-inspired costumes are an entertaining way to spice up Halloween costumes, especially at social gatherings.

People can dress up in togas, for example. It’s especially fitting for college students who are involved in Greek life at their universities, and when Halloween rolls around the costume idea not only ties into Halloween but also the Greek organizations.

This year many have taken a liking to recreating looks from many of Marvel’s new television shows.

The Marvel Studios Disney+ series “WandaVision,” for example, was an enormous success that took over social media and captured a wide audience. Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, is an intelligent and caring individual who is passionate about fighting for what she feels is right. Her fellow co-star Paul Bettany, who plays The Vision, is her husband in the TV series and is more reserved and analytical but is thoughtful when it comes to situations that Maximoff and Vison are put into. Maximoff and Vision’s overall personality, outfit choice and unbreakable bond has captivated so many people, which is why they are such a popular choice for Halloween costumes this year.

Television shows also represent relatable costume ideas for groups to dress up together in.

Memorable cartoons from our preadolescence have become popular again, and both males and females have an interest in dressing up as them. Many of us have been reminiscing during our early adulthood about our childhood cartoons because of remakes and them being in the limelight.

Powerpuff Girls and The Winx Club are two cartoons that are becoming especially popular because of the live-action remake called “Fate: The Winx Saga,” a television series on Netflix. This shows sparked interest in many viewers who wanted to dress up as the iconic female characters, who are fairies with different creative abilities.

Halloween costumes are a great way to be creative and expressive. Group costumes allow people to bond and match for the holiday, especially during Halloween where being together and celebrating is an important part of the occasion.
