STUEY nominations open through Jan. 10 

Nominations for the 24th Annual Student Life Achievement Awards (STUEY Awards) are open now until Jan. 10. Current Nova Southeastern University students, staff, faculty members and groups are eligible to be nominated for the award. Winners will be chosen based on how well the group or individual represents NSU’s core values of academic excellence, student-centered, integrity, innovation, opportunity, scholarship/research, diversity and community. NSU’s Center for the Humanities to host Barrios Of America: Virtual Series  

On Sept. 30. and Oct. 7, the NSU Center for the Humanities will continue its virtual series called “Barrios of America” which celebrates Hispanic heritage. The event is virtual, free and open to the public. It will also feature guest speakers, including NSU faculty. NSU Tutoring and Testing Center to host success workshop series 

NSU’s Tutoring and Testing Center will be hosting a success workshop series with virtual events on Sept. 28, Oct.1 and Nov.10. The virtual series will be held via Zoom and will cover topics such as time management, networking skills, test-taking strategies and many more. RecWell hosts weekly football watch party 

Every Thursday, NSU’s RecWell hosts a Thursday night football watch party at Flight Deck from 7:45 – 11:00 p.m. The event is free and will have food, drinks and giveaways at halftime. For more information or any questions email rz219@nova.edu. 

 

CAPS to host 10th Annual Trick to the Treat of an Internship or Research Experience 

NSU’s Center for Academic and Professional Success and the Halmos College of Arts and Sciences will present the 10th Annual Trick to the Treat of an Internship or Research Experience. The event will be held virtually and will take place on Oct. 27, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about science-related internships and research opportunities and listen to students present on their healthcare internship experiences.
