Falling leaves and colder weather, sadly, do not occur in our beloved state. Therefore, when autumn rolls around Floridians try their best to pretend that the weather seems colder and the leaves on trees are changing color.
One thing many Floridians have the privilege of taking part in is trying anything and everything that has to do with pumpkins. Whether it be at Starbucks or Dunkin, pumpkin food items and drink options have become a staple to Floridian’s list of activities to try during the fall. Both places highlight many pumpkin-related items that have skyrocketed their businesses during this time of year.
For the past two decades, Starbucks has always reinstated their pumpkin items, signaling the return of fall. These delicious drinks and treats have excited consumers and helped Floridians especially get into the fall spirit. An all-time classic at Starbucks are pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin cream cold brews. Also, more drinks for coffee lovers include pumpkin spice frappuccino’s and apple crisp macchiatos. These drinks go great paired with food items for fall like pumpkin cream cheese muffins, pumpkin scones and pumpkin loaves.
Dunkin Donuts also does the same concept with coffee choices like pumpkin spice lattes and their new drink item pumpkin crème cold brew. These items like Starbucks are favorites for their impeccable flavor. Dunkin’s new apple items consist of apple cranberry refreshers, new apple cranberry coconut refreshers and an apple cider donut which are very nice to pair with the regular fall options. These food and drink items are very interesting to try and nice to have as an option during this time of year.
Fashion choices also differentiate depending on certain Floridian’s. Many Floridan’s will tend to not care and will always wear jackets or cardigans in hot weather. Even when early fall comes around it’s the same for most of them. However, many Floridan’s will dress up their looks with crème-colored cardigans, jean jackets and neutral tones for their fall wardrobes.
When it comes to Florida fall, Floridians will still make it their priority to be a part of the festive spirit, whether that be going to their favorite coffee shops and ordering seasonal items or dressing up in warm neutral colors.
