Second Town Hall Meeting to be held Jan. 30

President George Hanbury will host the Davie/Fort Lauderdale campus’ second Town Hall meeting for students on Jan. 30 at 11:30 a.m. in the Flight Deck. This comes after a meeting in HPD Assembly Building on Jan. 19. A new aspect to the Town Hall meetings is that they are being streamed for students to watch remotely. A Town Hall meeting will also take place on each regional campus, beginning on Jan. 24 on the Miami Campus. Students are encouraged to RSVP and submit their questions ahead of time by going to nova.edu/townhall.

Alvin Sherman Library hosts third annual Power Publishing Day

The Alvin Sherman Library will host its third annual Power Publishing Day on Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for individuals interested in learning about the requirements for academic publishing. This event is open to NSU faculty, students and alumni, as well as the public. Registration is required for the event and can be attended in person or online. Chinese Performing Arts Group, CASEC, performs at NSU to celebrate Chinese New Year

The Chinese Performing Arts Group, CASEC, will perform on Jan. 28 in the performance theater in the Don Taft University Center from 2-3:30 p.m. in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Presented by the Alvin Sherman Library, this event is free and open to the public. To register, call 954-262-5477.

Office of Career Development presents students with free Portfolium access

The Office of Career Development kicked off January by offering an online portfolio platform called Portfolium. Students were offered a link to create their account and have access to a free-for-life digital portfolio to customize.
