Men’s Basketball

On Wednesday, No.3 NSU took the win against Palm Beach Atlantic, 98-76. Graduate student  Eddie Puisis earned a 6-for-9 performance and a total of 18 points in 25 minutes of play. This night also honored the teams four seniors— David Dennis, Dwayne Gibson, Lukas Landgren and Pat Huffine. This night also marked the presentation of the first-ever Sunshine State Conference for the program and head coach Jim Crutchfield’s 400th career win.

 

 

 

Men’s Golf 

As a team, No.16 Sharks wrapped up in second at four-under par, three strokes from the tournament champion. Senior Juan Jose Guerra finished with a final total of (-9) 207 at the St. Leo Invitational winning the individuals. Sophomore Tomas Millet closed out the week with an ever-par 72 to secure a career-best and sixth place finish.   

 

 

Men’s Swimming

NSU’s men’s swimming earned their third-straight SSC championship title. Sophomore Bernardo Abascal and junior Vincent Lijoi earned the silver and bronze with times of 15:39.22 and 15:40.23 respectively. Sophomore Alec Dawson won the men’s 100 freestyle with a time of 44.36.

 

 

 

 

 

Women’s Basketball

Wednesday’s senior night honored the teams five seniors—  Christian Prasse, Alison Hughes, Mikayla Thompson, Megan Piggott and Katie Barnard. The Sharks dominated against Palm Beach Atlantic 77-53. Prasse finished her senior season with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Alison Hughes tallied a game high of 15 points with 3 more 3-pointers earning 81 on the season and 156 for her NSU career.
