What is “Demon Slayer?”
The show follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager who worked under his family business as a coal burner. Tanjiro made frequent trips to a nearby snow-clad village in a valley to sell coal to the villagers in need. One fateful night, upon returning from his venture, he discovers his entire family has been slaughtered by a demon while he was away. The only known survivor was his younger sister Nezuko, who was unfortunately transformed into a demon. Following the tragedy, in hopes of one day turning his sister back into a human, Tanjiro sets out on a mission to join the Demon Slayer Corps. The Demon Slayer Corps organization that has been around for centuries and is dedicated solely to protecting humans from demons.
What makes the show unique
What sets “Demon Slayer” apart from many other mainstream anime out there is its animation. The show is constantly commended for its breathtaking visuals and powerful implementation of computer-generated imagery featured in season one, transforming every frame into a work of art. The animation studio Ufotable responsible for the TV adaptation never seems to disappoint with their stunning use of CGI.

At the release of season two, fans were a bit skeptical yet excited, wondering if season two of “Demon Slayer” could possibly outshine season one. The short answer is yes, the “Demon Slayer” Entertainment District Arc featured some of the most exceptional animation ever produced by Ufotable. Leading into the finale, the show’s most recent cliffhanger in combination with the studio’s known unpredictability left fans hanging at the edge of their seats awaiting to see what could possibly happen next. Season two has been remarkable thus far and Ufotable has yet to disappoint.
