Shark Speak: Do you feel you’re getting a quality education at NSU?

Kelly Brosky

Kelly Brosky, junior exercise and sports science major

“Yes, I do believe that [I’m getting a quality education]. I think that the classes are really great and with the small class sizes you can connect with the teachers. If you have any questions, you can go to them, and you get to know all your classmates.”
Altamash Jawadi

Altamash Jawadi, sophomore biology major

“Yes, because the teachers have good degrees, all doctorates, so I think it’s good quality education.”
Jacqueline Singh

Jacqueline Singh, second year physical therapy doctoral student

“Yeah, I am. It just depends on the teacher who’s teaching it.”
Kariss Keller

Kariss Keller, freshman business major

“I think I am. I came here because it was private, and I went through public school my whole life, so I wanted something different. What really attracted me to [NSU] was the small classroom sizes. I think having only 10 to 15 kids in each class has really benefited me, because I get to know my teacher…more so than I did in public school, so if I have questions, I’m more likely to reach out.”
Scott Stover

Scott Stover, second year physical therapy doctoral student

“At times yes and at times no, I guess. It just depends on the teacher who’s teaching the course.”
Macy Roderick

Macy Roderick, sophomore biology major

“I do believe that I’m getting a quality education here, especially with the small class sizes. You can really get to know your professors, and a lot of professors here do have great contacts out in your professional area, but you have to reach out and make those relationships in order to have those contacts.”
