I used to think that when I made it to my college commencement, I would be gleaming, incredibly smart and insightful, decorated with the accomplishments of my past four years of study. The truth is, I’m not the valedictorian, or summa cum laude, or Grand Poobah.
You’ve made it to college. Congratulations. However, as you probably know, the degree you will receive in a few years is not going to be enough to get that dream job, even if you have a 4.0 GPA. You need experience. You need an internship.
The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences gives each academic year a theme. The themes rotate between “Good and Evil,” “Identity,” “Truth and Power,” and “Life and Death.” This year’s theme is “Identity.”
