Throughout the season, the NSU men’s basketball team has faced a tough schedule, including games against four teams ranked in the NCAA Division II Coaches Poll. The Sharks now find themselves with an 11-6 record, ranked fifth in the Sunshine State Conference.

Teddy Tassy, senior guard, said that in order for the team to have a successful season, they are going to need the support and encouragement of NSU fans. He said if a genie granted him one wish, he would ask for the seats to be filled for every home game.

On Sept. 21, NSU Athletics announced a three–year partnership with WMEN 640 AM Radio to air live broadcasts of men’s basketball games, as well as a weekly, hour–long program dedicated to NSU Athletics called the “Sharks Sports Wrap.”
