When I transferred here last year from FIU, I was disappointed to find that students here didn’t hold student involvement and student leadership in a high regard. As I began to become involved at NSU, I learned more about the university system and began to understand the uniqueness of the NSU student experience. Here are six conclusions that I have reached in my two semesters of being a Shark:

Undergraduate SGA runs out of money
On Feb. 8, A.K. Bennett, NSU undergraduate student government association president, announced, through a press release to the student clubs and organizations of the Inter Organizations Council, that SGA has spent all of its funds for the year and will not be able to approve any more requests for funding.

The petition prompted the lift of a Skype ban that was placed by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) last year.
