No talking allowed in London movie theaters

The Prince Charles Cinema, along with a few others in London, created a group of morph-suit-wearing volunteers to jump out at moviegoers who make a raucous during a movie. These “ninjas” have the permission to scare those talking on their cell phones, but are prohibited from physically harming anyone.  In return, these volunteers get free admission to movies.

 

Lose Weight the Right Way

Doctoral student Amy E. Heinowtiz, M.A., will present research on Narcotics Anonymous and the emotional effects of it on Oct. 10 in the Maltz Psychology Building. National Recovery Month

Center for Performing Arts getting a makeover

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is undergoing $50 million renovations, after 20 years. This transformation includes a VIP area, Club Level, educational center, and pavilion. The project is expected to be completed by January 2014.
