Men’s Golf

The men’s golf team finished fifth at the Bobcat Invitational at Cuscowilla Golf Club in Eatonton, Georgia. The team shot a final score of 888, which was (+48). The Sharks were led by Richard Mansell who finished at 217 (+7), which was good for third individually. He was followed by junior Miguel Angel Jimenez, who finished tied for 17th with a three-round total of 221(+11), and sophomores Juan Jose Guerra and Martin Larrea finished at 36th with a total of 228 (+18). The Sharks’ next tournament will be April 3 at Normandy Shores in Miami Shores.

Men’s Basketball

On March 23, the Sharks introduced a new men’s basketball coach: Jim Crutchfield. Crutchfield comes from West Liberty in West Virginia. He has one of the highest winning percentages at .855, which is the best in college basketball history among coaches who spent at least 10 years as an NCAA coach.

Baseball

On March 22, the No.18 Sharks were able to defeat the No. 24 Flagler in Saint Augustine 6-4. With the win the Sharks improved to 17-10. The Sharks were led by pitcher Derik Beauprez, who earned his first win of the season. The Sharks’ hitting was led by Brandon Gomez and Brendan Cutting. The Sharks have a three-game series this weekend at Saint Leo.
