Shark Pride Friday (throwback edition)

The Student Event and Activities (SEA) Board and the Inter Organizational Council (IOC) have joined forces for another Shark Pride Friday. Forget “throwback Thursday” and enjoy a “throwback Friday” on  March 26 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Don Taft University Center. Break out your baggy t-shirt and jeans and don’t forget your mask as COVID-19 guidelines will be strictly enforced. Interested in attending virtual events from home? eSharks has you covered. Mark your calendars for a jean distressing workshop taking place on Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m. and a creating suncatchers workshop on Sunday, March 28 at 1 p.m. For more information leading up to the event, look out for the SharkFins newsletter in your inbox every Tuesday.

Sharks and Service

Interested in taking your involvement in your community a step further? Sharks and Service Site Leader applications are open until March 26, with interviews occurring the week of March 29. This leadership position runs for a full year, giving students hands-on experience in the surrounding community. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Office presents negotiations workshop

Interested in learning more about a salary negotiation? The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Office will host a virtual Zoom session highlighting ways to sharpen your negotiation skills. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 30 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.

Computer Camp workshop

Need to improve your technology skills since the world has gone virtual? Join the Computer Camp workshop to learn the basics of hardware and software on Tuesday, March 30 from 1-1:45 p.m. This event is open to the public and will provide further detailed information upon registering.
