Larry Fitzgerald now second NFL all-time receiving yards

Larry Fitzgerald passed Terrell Owens to become the second on the all-time receiving yards list in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 11. The Arizona Cardinals wide receiver finished the game with 15,952 yards, 18 more yards than the now-third place and Hall of Famer, Terrell Owens. Fitzgerald now sits behind Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, who leads the league with 22,895 yards. The 35 year old is in his 15 season, and Cardinals fans can only hope that Fitzgerald stays around for a few more to close the distance between Rice. According to Pro-Football Reference, the only active wide receiver that could threaten Fitzgerald’s spot is Brandon Marshall, a 12 year veteran. Marshall is ranked 22 on the all-time list with 12,351 yards. It is highly unlikely that Fitzgerald will surpass Rice, but this milestone proves Fitzgerald’s value to the Cardinals franchise and cements his place in the NFL Hall of Fame.
