NSU cancels classes until further notice

On Sept. 5, Nova Southeastern University announced that classes will be canceled at all campuses and sites beginning Sept. 6 at 8 a.m. due to Hurricane Irma. This includes NSU University School, Mailman Segal Center and Baudhuin. The campus will remain open for faculty and staff, who should report to work according to their normal schedules. NSU Health Clinics and Pharmacy will also remain open.

On Sept. 7, the entire university will close until further notice.

Hurricane Irma is a current Category 5 and projected to impact South Florida as early as Friday, according to the SunSentinel. Residential and commuter students can learn more about hurricane preparedness at nova.edu/publicsafety/forms/hurricane_brochure.pdf.
