Sorority and fraternity collaborate for charity
On April 9, the sorority Phi Sigma Sigma and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. will co-host the First Sigma Stroll Off at 8 p.m. at the West Circle near the Don Taft University Center to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation, the sorority’s charity.
NSU’s big fat Greek family
Fraternity and sorority members have gained the reputation of party people who go to college to get drunk and have sex. This reputation has been fueled by TV shows and movies like “Greek” and “Animal House.” However, the Greek system at NSU contradicts some of the myths that are perpetuated on the big screen.
