The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Huizenga Sales Institute introduced the first class in its Master of Business Administration in Sales program with 20 students on Jan. 10.
Cherie MacFarlane, senior marketing major, won first place in the Huizenga Sales Institute’s uPitch for iPad contest last week. Her prize included a 16 gigabyte iPad and $1,000 for an organization to which she belongs.
In preparation for the opening of the Sales Institute in the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship on Oct. 13, the institute has partnered with the Division of Student Affairs to host a contest that promotes sales skills.
