NSU golf: New season, same high expectations
“I believe we have the capability to win the NCAA’s for a fourth year. I think the freshmen feel the pressure of stepping into the shoes of last year’s team, but I really do think that they have the skill and ability to lead our team to another national championship. Hopefully, I can lead this team to the national championship trophy,” said Gittings.
Faculty Spotlight: Peter Finley
“I look back on it and I’m glad we had the courage to make that decision at that time. I was 30 years old and that was a hard decision to just sell the house and start all over again. There was a lot of uncertainty to it, but I’m glad and I’m happy to be here as a result,” Finley said.
Making a difference within the NSU community and beyond
Each year, the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement in the Division of Student Affairs organizes the event and is responsible for bringing NSU organizations together in the spirit of community service.

NSU athletics to air basketball games and sports show on local radio
On Sept. 21, NSU Athletics announced a three–year partnership with WMEN 640 AM Radio to air live broadcasts of men’s basketball games, as well as a weekly, hour–long program dedicated to NSU Athletics called the “Sharks Sports Wrap.”
