Bake sale for gender and race inequality awareness
NSU’S branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) held a bake sale in front of the Parker Building on April 4 and charged each customer based on race and gender.
Athlete of the week: Sarah Patterson
Senior Sarah Patterson, a business administration major, has only been rowing since her freshman year of high school. She took up the sport when a friend told her to try it during a school orientation, and she has been hooked ever since.
Women’s basketball season comes to an end
The NSU women’s basketball team made it to the Elite Eight in San Antonio, Texas. The Sharks ended their historic season with a loss to Western Washington University, 80-76. They bounced back from a 17-point deficiency to send the game into overtime.
Locks for Cause third annual cut-a-thon
NSU’s student organization Locks for Cause will hold its third annual “For Hair’s Sake” cut-a-thon on April 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Don Taft University Center Spine, to collect ponytails for Locks of Love.
In Memory of Kevin Rafael Preciado
