Places to ‘gill’ out: Warsaw Coffee Company

NSU is a unique and lively campus, but that doesn’t mean that Sharks can’t band together and take an afternoon to explore the South Florida area — even if that just means finding a quaint place to study.

For individuals looking for a place that transitions from day to night while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, look no further.

Fort Lauderdale’s Warsaw Coffee Company is the solution. With specialty coffee, wine and craft beer selections coupled with a breakfast, lunch and bakery menu, Warsaw Coffee provides a place for Sharks to lounge at any time of the day.

From a distance, the coffee shop may not seem like much — its exterior is a bare white building. But patrons who walk in will enter an open, welcoming space. The industrial décor of Warsaw provides a sleek, modern and clean atmosphere.

One of the great things about Warsaw is the diverse menu. The coffees range from special brews and espressos to iced coffees and barista creations. The menu includes loose-leaf tea, over 20 wines and 25 craft beers. Hungry? There are plenty of healthy options for breakfast before 11 a.m., including the avocado toast and chai spiced latte. Lunch-goers can opt for a salad or sandwich dish such as the Chicken BLT, which can be swapped for a Vegan BLT instead. Those with a sweet tooth will love their massive banana nut muffins or chocolate croissants.

Warsaw opened its doors in March of 2015 and since then, has been praised by the New Times, Thrillest, the Miami Eater and the Sun Sentinel. Equipped with indoor and outdoor seating and free WiFi for guests, there is plenty of space for study groups or friend squads to gather.
