Shark Speak: What are you doing over the summer?

“I have plans to travel, but I don’t know to where yet. I’m a substitute math teacher so I teach over the summer, anything from kindergarten to calculus,” said Travis Roberson, junior secondary mathematics education major.

“I’m going back home to central Florida where I’m going to hopefully be finding a summer job in education to get more experience in before my internship,” said Sol Mateo Astacio, sophomore double education and music major.

“I’m traveling to Israel. I’m going there from the 8th to the 9th. I’m getting a job full time since I’m graduating and meeting some of my friends I haven’t seen in a while,” said Dan Karp, senior graphic design major.

“I’m living on campus as a summer RA. I don’t have anything fun planned yet but I’m hanging out with my friends who go to schools in different places. My parents talked about going on vacation but with [COVID-19], who knows,” said Kaylee Hilyer, junior sociology major.
