It’s almost October and that means a whole new set of movies will be shown on Sharks United Television. With midterms coming up, we’re all sure to need a break and what better way to do it than with a new movie.

Why the NSU clinic makes me sick
I think everyone has had his or her share of god-awful doctor visits. For most people, these chaotic experiences rarely occur. For others (such as myself) it happens at nearly every dreaded appointment — from the moment I set foot into the purgatorial waiting room to the second I flee from the sanitized hell.
Dear self-absorbed drivers: Get out of the way
“Are you kidding me? Again with this nonsense!” This was my very thought this morning as I attempted to enter the parking garage at the east entrance nearest DeSantis. Merely getting into the garage is the least of my concerns on any given day. However, this particular morning reminded me of what appears to be an ever–growing number of occasions when, upon arrival at the parking garage, there is a long queue of cars waiting to enter the facility.
Common courtesy no longer exists
What is common courtesy? Many reading this article will have a ready answer. However, I implore you to consider this question: If you know what common courtesy is, do you exercise it, or do you ignore its existence? Have simple gestures conveying courtesy and compassion for our fellow man become obsolete, similar to the fate of floppy disks?

NSU receives grant from BP for oil-spill research
NSU’s Oceanographic Center will use part of a $10 million block grant, received from BP in August, to research the Gulf of Mexico oil spills’s impact on marine ecosystems.
