Both the men’s and women’s golf teams wrapped up successful Fall seasons on Oct. 31, and will start competing again in late February. Despite several newcomers on both teams, the results were quite familiar to the NSU community.

David Beckham’s assistance to the MLS
It was just five years ago when soccer icon David Beckham made the trip across the pond from England and joined the Los Angeles Galaxy. On Nov. 20, Beckham won his first MLS Cup with the Galaxy, and with his contract expiring in December, that might have been his last meaningful match in the MLS.

When LSU defeated Alabama 9-6 in overtime on Nov. 5, it seemed all but certain that Alabama was knocked out of the national championship picture. However, losses from Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Stanford and Boise State have made Alabama the frontrunner to face LSU in the national championship.
