Recently a recording of Governor Mitt Romney discussing the upcoming election at a $50,000-a-plate dinner surfaced on the internet. In this video, Romney openly admits he believes that 47 percent of Americans will not vote for him no matter what he says or does.

The Food Bar: The New King of Shark Dining

The Food Bar offers several dining options which are desperately needed at the food court. The Culinary Table offered students a prefixed menu of limited variety. If you did not like what they served that day you were simply out of luck and forced to dine elsewhere. With the Food Bar, you get the opportunity to choose from a wide and rich menu. Anyone who dines at the Food Bar will immediately notice the variety of food they offer, first glances will remind customers of the Chicken Grill or Greens etc. but the similarities end there.

FCAT, SATs, ACTs and the GRE: A standardized life and a scholar’s nightmare

This is my beef with standardized testing: It’s bogus — especially when you were unfortunate enough to have been passed through the entire Florida educational system. There’s still time to save the post office

Have you ever had a piece of mail ruined? A letter crunched or a poster bent? Chances are that the culprit behind such destructive negligence was someone employed or some machine used by the United States Postal Service. I cannot tell you how many issues of my Transworld subscription have been destroyed by poor handling or how many packages have ended up in wrong states only to be told that an error had an occurred and, “We’re sorry.”
